Jordan Baeker Bispo, PhD, MPH, is a principal scientist of Cancer Disparity Research of the Surveillance & Health Equity Science department. She studies structural and social determinants of disparities in cancer control, with an emphasis on cancer screening and early detection in marginalized populations.
Baeker Bispo¡¯s research focuses on disparities in adverse breast and cervical cancer outcomes. She is particularly interested in how neighborhoods¡¯ social and built environments affect utilization of preventive care services and contribute to racial/ethnic disparities in cancer outcomes. ?
She has also contributed to community-based interventions for increasing the uptake of screening for cervical cancer in medically underserved groups.?

I live in beautiful central Kentucky with my husband, daughter, and our dog. Outside of work, I spend most of my time reading and crafting with my daughter. I especially love to crochet.?
