What Motivates Me
I¡¯ve always had a passion for science, but my interest in cancer research was really sparked after multiple members of my family were diagnosed with various cancers . Their experiences inspired me to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer. It is an honor to be a part of a team and organization, such as ACS, that makes a positive impact in the community through advocacy and education.¡±
At ACS since 2024
As an Assistant Scientist in the Study Management group of Population Science, Aliyah Green, BS, collects new information from Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3) participants via phone and email to update their files. This role also allows her the opportunity to answer participants¡¯ questions about the study and survey.
Green documents new cancer diagnoses reported by the participants and assists with quality control and data clean up to ensure accurate and reliable results.
